Welcome to Outlanders, the premier basketball travel team deeply rooted in Lodi, California. Established by Aziel Gonsalves in March 2023, our organization is committed to providing exceptional opportunities for young athletes to develop their basketball skills in a city ripe with potential. As proud members of Upward Sports Lodi, a vibrant recreational league boasting over 1200 boys and girls, we embrace the responsibility of fostering a dynamic basketball tradition.
At Outlanders, we not only elevate the opportunities presented by Upward Basketball but also uphold its foundational Christian principles. Our mission is to empower children to flourish in a healthy and competitive environment, all while adhering to unwavering moral standards rooted in Christian faith. RECAP OF OUR JOURNEY THROUGH YEAR 2023
Our History
In our inaugural year, we secured an invitation to Made Hoops, one of the nation’s premier youth basketball circuits. Additionally, we hold a top-ten ranking in Northern California in the West Coast Elite circuit and emerged as winners in the G365 tournament, competing against some of California’s finest teams.
The unprecedented growth of our program, featuring 10 teams in the first year, shows no signs of slowing down.
