Outlanders Leveled Up (Girls Team)

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Level Up, where the merging forces of Outlanders and Level Up have united to champion girls’ basketball with the same fervor and opportunities as boys’ basketball. This union has birthed the formidable entity known as Outlanders Leveled Up.

In the dynamic world of basketball, we’ve navigated games where victory seemed assured, others where defeat loomed large, and those where the outcome hung in the balance. Through it all, we’ve learned that while scoring more points remains the objective, sometimes it’s beyond our physical capabilities and outside our control. So, what’s the game plan? We coach the games within the game, focusing on winning in the details we can influence.

Details

Throughout our extensive coaching journey spanning college, high school, and youth basketball, one skill has emerged as consistently underrated and underdeveloped: decision-making.

At Level Up, we firmly believe that decisions precede skills. Our training regimen prioritizes defining roles, honing court awareness, making swift decisions, and mastering defensive tactics. We aim to simplify the game and empower players to excel in their roles with efficiency and effectiveness.

Within our drills, we seamlessly integrate decision-making skills with technical prowess, placing players in game scenarios that demand both mental acuity and technical finesse. As players learn to execute the right plays, their confidence soars, translating to greater consistency both on and off the court.

Our coaching philosophy revolves around defining roles, executing strategies, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, playing with purpose, and leading with heart. Our practices are intense, high-energy, and fiercely competitive, fostering urgency, vocal leadership, confidence, and above all, enjoyment.

But what does it truly mean to Level Up?

  1. Embrace Challenges
    2. Break Barriers
    3. Build Relationships
    4. Problem Solve
    5. Communicate Effectively
    6. Understand the Importance of Consistency
